Utopian Stuffy-stuff and happy Asians

… So, now it’s on the Utopia, a word one often fantasize about, but never really bother to wake up and buy one in real life (yes, utopias are bought, mostly from real estate agents and some drug dealers lol)… Anyway, I was given the task of trying to verbalize it into something or other, and this is the stuff I managed to spurt out before getting lost in a horrid wall of typography.

Utopia:

Utopia, in my knowledge, is an ideal realm or existence where a person, or even nature, will be in perfect harmony with one-another, a sense of tranquility and no conflict, practically, an existence in which you would find most ideal to you. Since most Utopias vary by nature and form, everybody’s version of utopia is significantly different; the vision is lost in translation, as others ideal situations may too become yours. In other words, the thought of a perfect world or space are forever changing to your influences around you, thus making a utopia such a distant thing to see. On a more sensible note, one can often describe a place of comfit to a ‘utopia’, implying that one is content and tranquil whist in/around its proximity.

… Yeah, how scientific, specific and to the book n’ glossary, but anyway, this is how I see it so to speak… But next up is a Google search (dun-dun-duuun) on the first ten entries which popped up:

… Okay, so from these findings, you can deduce that
1                    the smarty-pants editors of Wikipedia always have an answer to something or other, this case being on a definition and other random stuff.
2                    SafariNow has a place in the wild called Utopia, which for me wouldn’t really be one if something decides to devour my tent (or cottage if you’re a high-roller),
3                    Utopia is now a game on “A world of intrigue, strategy and warfare.´ Oh how peaceful. (stark/sarcastic comment)
4                    Within Temptation’s song ‘Utopia’ is actually rather good… Well that’s what I thought while I was doing this enlightening search.
5                    Asian’s who are gay, the homosexual one that is (and by some of the mildly disturbing pictures in their gallery, happy too), tend to like the word Utopia, and associate it with rainbow colours and a physically impossible instance of balloons floating off with a bus.
6                    More of SafariNow’s sCrap of the same ‘getaway’ house, which is actually starting to look like one of those abandoned and overgrown houses in the middle of nowhere the more I look at its exterior.
7                    Ditto.
8                    Some nicely designed pictures, mostly of road signs that say Utopia. (Wonder if they actually went there afterward)
9                    That house must either be eating people and demands more, or it’s actually a pretty nice place to get away from others, perhaps the police and/or in-laws
10                Utopia is apparently within Tiger Valley somewhere, which explains why most people in my Uni bunk lectures to go there.

… Now that we now have wide variety of information, some of it repetitive and annoying, while others are just disturbing, the process of neatly cropping the good stuff out of it all depends on what you actually want from it… this can be easily done by skimming through the pages content, reading the blurb that is on most web pages, being more specific when Googling something or someone(stalker aura much), or simply asking others their opinion of which information is important, as one-minded thinking can be/is biased most of the time… so in other words, don’t be lazy and do some work!

… Anyway, this is what I’ve found so far… No doubt you lot will have some different answers altogether, which makes perfect sense because this is such a huge topic for research… Feel free to comment on these and give your own opinion, which is always nice to hear… But for now, I’ll be ending this and returning to my other work.

… Matte-ne.
